Leading The Magi Team:
Dr. Brian Tucker was born in Liverpool, England but has spent most of his life in Canada. He has also worked in the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Brian served as an internal Change Management/Organizational Development consultant with Rank-Xerox (Europe), The Government of Alberta, Imperial Oil Limited (ExxonMobil) and the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).
As an external consultant, he has worked with The Coopers & Lybrand Consulting Group (now part of PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and Atos Origin (Middle East). He also established Western O.D. Consultants, CSM Change & Stress Management Services and The Magi (Organizational Learning and Development).
Brian pioneered the strategic approach to stress management in organizations. While he can counsel individuals, he is not a clinical psychologist and focuses on work-related stress for groups as well as individual employees.
Dr. Tucker may be the only person ever listed in Canadian Who’s Who wearing the three hats of academic, management consultant and stress researcher.
Brian’s professional passions include facilitating learning, corporate culture change and the pursuit of corporate wisdom.
